Pisgah Institute is comprised of psychiatrists, doctoral level
psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners, who address a full
range of mental conditions. We provide consultation, medication
management, and individual psychotherapies. We perform psychological
and educational testing, stress management, and Transcranial Magnetic
Stimulation (TMS), a new treatment for depression. We provide services
for children, adults, and families.
The Pisgah Institute is the largest, most comprehensive behavioral health practice in Western North Carolina. We provide a wide variety of mental health treatments. The home-like atmosphere of the practice provides a relaxing atmosphere where patients can feel comfortable and cared for.
We are seeking volunteers who are 18-65 years of age for a research study of EEG-guided medication treatment for depression. Participants must be a patient at a participating study site or a new patient interested in establishing care with one of our participating providers. Participants will be evaluated for eligibility by their provider. Study participation may last 6 months or longer. Study procedures will occur during patient care and visits will be filed with insurance. Study-specific procedures will not be an additional cost to participants. Though participation may or may not improve personal outcomes from medication, it will aid in evaluation of a new technology seeking to improve treatment for active duty service members, veterans, their families, and the larger community. If you are interested in participating, please contact Caity Smith, our Clinical Research Coordinator, by calling (828) 254-9494 or emailing email@example.com.
We are currently accepting new patients in our Suboxone clinic to address opioid dependence.
to increased call volume and to better serve our patients, services
such as checking on an existing appointment and requesting prescription
refills should now be done through our PATIENT PORTAL.
If you would like access to the PATIENT PORTAL, please click on the “contact us” tab at the top of this page. Please include your name, date of birth, and email address; and indicate that you’d like to receive a portal invite.
